Mahukov Alexander Vasilievich

He was born April 10, 1927 in the village of Kurkino Stanichno-Lugansk district, Luhansk region.
A veteran of the great Patriotic war. From 1944 to 1951 he served in the Armed forces of the USSR ( Baltic, Arkhangelsk, the Northern Fleet ).
After serving in the army, from 1951 to 1966, he studied and worked in the Studio “Association of artists” ( in 1966 renamed the Art production plant ).
He studied at the Lugansk art College. Teachers: Capcanes T. N., Filbert, A. A., And M. L. Wolstein .
Since 1956 Mahalov A. V. a participant of regional, Republican and all-Union art exhibitions.
In 2007 in Lugansk was held the personal exhibition of the artist.
The works of Alexander Vasilyevich Mahukona are stored in Lugansk regional art Museum, in private collections of Ukraine and abroad.
April 19, 2012 in the Luhansk regional art Museum hosted a jubilee evening of Alexander Vasilyevich in connection with the 85 anniversary from the date of his birth.
