The future artist was born 2 July 1955 in Lugansk. At the age of 15 he was fond of drawing, at 23 he began to exhibit his work.
“Great cholesterol” – this is a favorite painting, in which “got so deep that dug itself” – with a smile remembered the author. On the question of genres in which prefers to work Georgiy Medvedev, said that there is “a dangerous mix: surrealism, symbolism and pointillism”. Hobby is jazz music, travelling, “out”, fishing.

1962 -1972 – Study at school with advanced study of English.
1973 -1977 – Studied at Lugansk State College of Culture and Arts majoring in “art teacher (with the right to teach in schools and colleges)”.
1978 – 1984 – Studied in Kyiv State Art Institute (now national Academy of arts of Ukraine); received the specialty teacher of all kinds of fine art with the right to teach in universities.
1984 – Started to work in Lugansk regional art Association.
From 2002 – head of computer graphics Department at Lugansk state College of culture and arts.
A member of the Union of artists of Ukraine.

Since 1978 participates in regional exhibitions.
Since 1984 participates in all-Ukrainian exhibitions.
1991 – Exhibition in Lannover Hall, Cardiff, Wales.
1993 – Exhibition in St. Ettiene, France.
1998 – Exhibition in Lugansk, Ukraine.
Paintings are in private collections in the UK, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Denmark, Ukraine and other republics of the former USSR.
