Ovcharenko Ivan Panteleevich (1926 – 1978) – sculptor, honored artist of Ukraine, laureate of State prize. T. G. Shevchenko, was born in the village Moiseevka Malovskogo district, Luhansk region. For a long time was the Director of the Lugansk children’s art school. He trained dozens of artists. His most famous creative works: the monument to Vladimir Sosyura in the town of Lysychansk, a monument to the writer Vladimir Garshino in the city of Starobelsk, in collaboration with sculptors V. and Fedchenko, V. Mukhin monument “Ukraine – to liberators” in p. Cretaceous Lugansk region.
