Mozhaev Nikolai was born may 22, 1928 on a farm Mozaika the village Tarasovskiy district, Rostov region. In 1945-1950 he studied at Lugansk state art school at the sculpture Department, where he studied at Mukhina. Lives in Lugansk. Works in monumental, decorative and easel sculpture. In 1953 he participated in regional, all-Ukrainian, all-Union, international exhibitions. Since 1960 – member of the Union of artists of Ukraine. In 1982 awarded the title of honored artist of Ukraine. In 1995 he became a laureate of the Republican prize. Mikhail Sholokhov. The participant of many competitions, where they presented the best works of monumental sculpture. Famous works: the bust on the grave of civil war hero A. Parkhomenko in the square near the Philharmonic society, a monument to the “Caster gun”, “Prince Igor”, etc.
